Quickstart Kits
This ePSA Quickstart Kit from TAG Business Tools is a bundle of software, documentation and services intended to help a Supplier or Distributor in the Promotional Products Industry install the hardware, software and services necessary to begin to exchange Order Status and Advance Shipping Notices (ASN) with ePSA compliant distributors like Geiger and JII. These kits are for you if you are a Supplier or Distributor interested in conducting eCommerce the ePSA way without going through a service provider, you do not have XML programming skills in house, you prefer to export or import csv files into your backend system and you want to get started right away.This Quickstart program is a first, big step towards positioning your company to conduct business using the ePSA standard. Once you complete this program successfully, you will be able to exchange Order Status and ASN PIPs with any Distributor capable of receiving them following the ePSA standard.You will also be in a position to quickly add Purchase Order and Invoice transactions.
Supplier and Distributor Kits
There are two kits, one for Suppliers and one for Distributors. Each kit, costs $1465.00 US and includes the following software and services:
- A software license for the TAG 120D Transaction Switch which can handle 120 outbound documents/hr.
- A license to the TAG TRX-1 Integrated Transformer which converts files for the Transaction Switch.
- A Quickstart Kit
- The development of two XSLT files for mapping your CSV files to ePSA compliant XML files through the Transformer.
The Quickstart Kit, which is used primarily to help you to develop the mapping and content information required to convert your CSV files to ePSA compliant XML files through the TAG Transformer. It consists of:
- A roadmap which includes the 12 steps you must take to start conducting eCommerce using the ePSA standard.
- A Tables Workbook with connection and CSV information.
- A Gap Analysis Workbook that has a set of tables you can use to map your business terms to ePSA compliant business terms.
Become an ePSA Member
We urge you to become an ePSA member for many reasons. One of the most immediate is that you will be able to take advantage of their certification process and use their UDDI Business Registry. The certification process checks to make sure you are operating properly so you can exchange transctions with other members using the ePSA standard. The UDDI Registry is used by the TAG Transaction Switch to locate the URLs of your trading partners and for your trading partners to locate your URL so they know where to send you transctions and acknowledgments..
